Melukat is one of the oldest rituals in the life of Hindus. Its core essence is the purification of the sacred trinity of body, mind, and spirit. The word melukat comes from Sulukat: Su means “good,” while Lukat means “purification.”During the ceremony, you are invited to release conscious or unconscious pain, past traumas, and limiting blockages. The ritual takes place in Sebatu, at a sacred Balinese site set in breathtaking natural surroundings, at the foot of a waterfall.The ceremony begins with a Balinese prayer and a flower offering, guided by a local priest chanting Hindu mantras. This is followed by the ritual bathing at the waterfall, where purification takes place both physically and spiritually. It is a process of letting go of what no longer serves you, and opening space for positive energies to enter your life.It is very important not to have  expectations about the ceremony, as the effects of purification touch everyone differently.
