Rice Terrace and Waterfall Picnic
I will take you to Bali’s most beautiful rice terraces, where we will walk along untouched little paths with no tourists in sight. Friendly locals will pass by, and we’ll get a glimpse into the secrets of rice cultivation. We’ll enjoy a picnic by a tiny stream, tasting delicious Balinese sweets, while I share fascinating stories about local culture, traditions, and religion. Afterwards, we’ll visit a hidden waterfall (unknown to tourists), where you’ll have the chance to refresh yourself under the cascading water. To complete the experience, I’ll surprise you with lunch at my favorite Balinese warung, offering stunning views. There, Nyoman and his wife will prepare a special Nasi Goreng made from red rice, followed by fruits freshly picked from their own garden.I met this elderly couple a few years ago, and since then we’ve shared a warm friendship. I often spend 4–5 days in this part of Bali, and visiting them is always one of the highlights of my time here – filled with great conversations and, of course, delicious food.
